Staying at Gowan Brae was a delight. The double room offered a stunning view of Loch Linne and the mountains. It felt light, airy, and extremely clean. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection, including cereals, cooked options, fruits, and drinks. I especially loved the individual service during breakfast. The owners were incredibly accommodating, letting me drop off my luggage before check-in and inviting me to use the dining room as a lounge later. Though the stairs to town could be a bit challenging, the overall experience made it worthwhile. I didn’t find any significant downsides during my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The double room was immaculate, featuring a cozy bed that made for a restful night with the sounds of nature adding to the ambiance. Breakfast was noteworthy, with freshly prepared options that truly elevated the stay, along with complimentary tea in the garden. However, the shower pressure was quite light, which could be frustrating for some, and the bathroom felt a bit snug. Additionally, guests may encounter some noise from shared areas, though it was manageable during our visit.

What a lovely place! The cozy room had comfy beds, and the breakfast was super filling with great options. The only downside was the shower pressure being a bit light, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all. If you can, enjoy the charming art and have some tea in the garden! 😊
