Our room overlooked the loch, providing beautiful views. However, the shower's water pressure was quite low, which may concern some guests.

I couldn’t have been happier to stay here. The room was well appointed, quiet location, and Anne was cute. Breakfast was delicious, especially with the view of the Loch.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, truly

making us feel at home. We appreciated the comfortable, well-furnished room and the stunning view over Loch Eil. The breakfast was a real treat, but the stairs to town might be challenging for some guests.

    stunning view
    exceptional breakfast
    accommodating owners
    challenging stairs

Staying at Gowan Brae was a delight. The double room offered a stunning view of Loch Linne and the mountains. It felt light, airy, and extremely clean. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection, including cereals, cooked options, fruits, and drinks. I especially loved the individual service during breakfast. The owners were incredibly accommodating, letting me drop off my luggage before check-in and inviting me to use the dining room as a lounge later. Though the stairs to town could be a bit challenging, the overall experience made it worthwhile. I didn’t find any significant downsides during my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

    cozy decor
    delicious breakfast
    friendly vibes
    light shower pressure

Super cozy B&B with gorgeous decor and friendly vibes! The breakfast options were plentiful & delicious. Loved the complimentary coffee and cookies in the room. Proximity to local attractions was a bonus!

The shower pressure was a bit light and the bathroom space might be tricky for bigger guests.

    limited activities

We had a fantastic family getaway, using this cozy spot as a base to explore stunning Loch Eil. The kids loved the garden where we enjoyed tea together and the friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The views were breathtaking!

My kids wished for more activities available for them.

    cozy room
    excellent breakfast
    light shower pressure
    small bathroom
    shared noise

The double room was immaculate, featuring a cozy bed that made for a restful night with the sounds of nature adding to the ambiance. Breakfast was noteworthy, with freshly prepared options that truly elevated the stay, along with complimentary tea in the garden. However, the shower pressure was quite light, which could be frustrating for some, and the bathroom felt a bit snug. Additionally, guests may encounter some noise from shared areas, though it was manageable during our visit.

    light shower pressure

What a lovely place! The cozy room had comfy beds, and the breakfast was super filling with great options. The only downside was the shower pressure being a bit light, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all. If you can, enjoy the charming art and have some tea in the garden! 😊
